The Materials Science & Engineering program positions students to make contributions to the field of engineering by studying the relationship between the structure, properties, processing, and performance of materials. Materials Science & Engineering is an integral part of any advanced technologies, ranging from energy and electronics to aerospace and chemical industry.
PROGRAM-SPECIFIC ADMISSIONS PREREQUISITES
Successful completion of all of the following courses (or their equivalent):
- Math: Calculus, I, II, and III
- Chemistry: General Chemistry I with Lab
- Physics: Fundamentals of Physics I & II
- Engineering: Thermodynamics and Solid State Physics
